A new tool for chloramine management
An all-new reference-sheet on chloramine management in indoor pools has just been added on the Website’s extranet.
This precious tool resulted from a collaborative effort between the APSAM (Association paritaire pour la santé et la sécurité du travail, secteur « affaires municipales ») and the Réseau de santé publique en santé au travail, direction de santé publique, CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre. Various organizations, such as the Lifesaving Society, the Association des responsables aquatiques du Québec, the Montreal and Laval universities, the École des technologies supérieures and several cities have provided their expertise to make this comprehensive reference-sheet an extremely relevant tool to any aquatic manager who is concerned by this issue.
The reference-sheet not only clearly explains what chloramines are, but also presents preventive and corrective measures to control how they impact the workers and patrons’ health.
The reference-sheet is available in French only. To access it, log into your account and click on the link in the News section.
