Bathing area accreditation

The certificate program was introduced by the Lifesaving Society to highlight aquatic facilities that have achieved the highest standards in aquatic safety and risk management.

Achieving accreditation is recognized as a sign of excellence in the industry. The program involves the successful completion of a variety of processes over a period of 12 to 24 months.

WATER PARK CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

The purpose of the water park certification program is to validate management practices for public safety and well-being. Certification is issued following a mystery audit and a planned audit by the Lifesaving Society over two summer seasons.

Certification is a mark of confidence that the water park's service offering complies with governmental requirements, and that the water park operator demonstrates a constant concern for the safety of both the public and its staff.
