*Other swimming instructor training: For swimming instructor training to be designated as eligible by the Ministry, its content must first be forwarded to the Ministry. The Ministry will then be able to verify that it meets the following requirements: 

**The Swim Instructor Trainer must meet the following requirements: o hold a current Trainer's certificate; o hold a current Swim Instructor's certificate; o have at least 100 hours of teaching experience. Requalification is required every two years. To be eligible for requalification, the candidate must, over the past two years, have: o participated in structured continuing education activities; o taught at least one course.
