TRAINING CAMPS
Throughout any given season, the Lifesaving Society offers training camps to meet the various needs of its athlete and coaching community. These development opportunities are presented separately from Team Quebec, as participants are not directly selected based on specific performances. Eligibility criteria for these camps are described in each of the events published on the Lifesaving Society’s website. Training camps are intended to contribute to the development of all aspiring athletes who may join Team Quebec in the future, not just those selected on Team Quebec.
Training camps are technical and tactical development opportunities supervised by specialists in the proposed discipline.
TEAM QUEBEC
Team Quebec’s objective is to offer identified athletes opportunities to participate in national and international competitions, to develop the experience needed to compete at the highest level. Each season, certain competitions will be targeted, and certain athletes will be invited to participate with Team Quebec.
Please note that attendance at targeted competitions is not mandatory, but identified athletes must compete at least once per season with Team Quebec.
