Standard First Aid

You need an advanced course that will allow you to assume a prehospital responder role during emergency situations?

With this comprehensive training, you will easily recognize abnormal signs and symptoms, to then be able to administer the necessary emergency measures.

In 16 hours, you will deepen your knowledge of various topics, such as the clinical evaluation of a victim and the treatments to administer in case of a priority emergency (respiratory emergency, cardiovascular emergency, cardiopulmonary arrest, etc.) and secondary emergency (convulsions, problems related to glycemia, environmental problems, etc.). Moreover, you will learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), how to administer epinephrin using an autoinjector, and how to proceed to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an adult, child, or infant.

This course can be adapted according to the participants’ needs.

This course fills the requirements for the norm Z1210-F17 - Formation en secourisme en milieu de travail de l'Association canadienne de normalisation (CSA).
