Standard First Aid

The Lifesaving Society’s Standard First Aid trainings are 16-hour advanced courses that not only teach emergency first aid, but also first aid for minor emergency situations. Minor emergency situations include medical issues (seizures, problems related to glycemia, poisoning, drowning, etc.), environmental issues (problems related to heat andcold, burns, electrocution, etc.), and various traumas (head and spinal injuries, chest injuries, etc.) 

 

This course fills the requirements for the norm Z1210-F17 - Formation en secourisme en milieu de travail de l'Association canadienne de normalisation (CSA). 

 

If you need your certificate to have this mention, it is now possible to create the following exam: Standard First Aid Norme CSAZ1210-17/Intermédiaire
