Maintaining clean, safe, and stable water in an aquatic facility can be challenging, as sources of contamination are numerous. To help aquatic facility managers and operators maintain impeccable water quality at all times, the Lifesaving Society offers access to the most comprehensive team of trainers in Québec.
This course, delivered by our experts, will enable you to:
- identify the main water and air contaminants, as well as the appropriate treatment methods;
- reduce costs associated with chemical products;
- understand how the main components of a filtration system operate;
- review the regulations and requirements for operating a swimming pool, wading pool, spa, water park, splash pad, or beach;
- participate in a discussion and problem-solving forum addressing common challenges faced by pool and spa operators;
- meet the requirements of the Regulation respecting the quality of water in swimming pools and other artificial basins (Q-2, r. 39) of the Government of Québec.
