TWO LIFESAVING SPORT ATHLETES FROM QUÉBEC NOMINATED

The Lifesaving Society Quebec Branch is pleased to announce the nomination of two of its athletes for the 2015 Lifesaving Sports Awards. Nelson Giraldo, from the Montreal Sea Devils, and Dan Bérubé, from the St-Laurent Masters, will both compete against Jason Cross, from the Nova Scotia Lifeguard Service, for the Male Masters Athlete of the Year award.

The 2015 Lifesaving Sports Awards honour Canadian athletes in seven categories: Performance of the Year, Female Masters Athlete of the Year, Male Masters Athlete of the Year, Development Male Athlete of the Year, Development Female Athlete of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year and Male Athlete of the Year. This year’s winners will be announced during the 2016 Canadian Pool Lifesaving Championships, which will take place in Edmonton on Sunday, May 15, 2016.
