  • MEMBERS’ GENERAL ASSEMBLY
    NOTICE OF CONVOCATION - All members in good standing, as of April 25, 2025, of the Lifesaving Society* are hereby duly summoned via email and through the Lifesaving Society website to attend the Annual Members’ Meeting to be held on Friday, April 25, 2025. This meeting will be conducted in a HYBRID format, both in-person at the Maison du Loisir et du Sport, 7665 Boul. Lacordaire, Salle Saint Laurent (2nd floor), Montreal, H1S 2A7, or virtually. The Teams link will be sent later to members registered for the meeting.

  • CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – BOARD OF DIRECTORS

    The Board of Directors of the Lifesaving Society (Organization) will hold its Annual General Meeting on April 25, in a hybrid format. During this meeting, registered members in good standing will be able to learn about the Lifesaving Society’s activities for the year 2024. Through its programs, products, activities, and services (PPAS), the Lifesaving Society embodies the concept of “drowning prevention.” The Organization’s mission is to promote safe aquatic and water-related activities in order to prevent drowning.

  • IMPLEMENTATION OF MANDATORY EMAIL

    Announcement of the Implementation of Mandatory Email for Creating Candidate Files in Lifesaving or First Aid Exams

    Starting Wednesday, March 26, 2025, a new practice will be implemented regarding the management of member information and validation in our database. This update aims to add a fourth validation factor and optimize the process of creating online accounts by making the email address mandatory for all members.

    The Lifesaving Society is currently recruiting to build its team of Brigadiers for the 2025 summer season. Would you like to connect with operators of swimming venues (pools, beaches, water parks, campgrounds, hotels, etc.) to promote the various messages of the Lifesaving Society, organize activities related to its mission, and generate public interest in drowning prevention?
