Are you looking to hire a lifeguard?

The Lifesaving Society offers three services to facilitate the recruitment of lifeguards and assistant-lifeguards.


Post your offer in the Job Newsletter we send to all holders of current National Lifeguard (Pool, Waterfront, Surf or Waterpark) awards, qualified assistant-lifeguards and Aquatic Emergency Care award holders who authorized the Lifesaving Society to contact them by email. Our 2018 Job Newsletter will be sent on February 8 and on march 15. For more information about prices and deadlines, or to use this service, take a look at the Job Newsletter form.


You can also post your offers on our Website’s Job Search section if you have an account. If you are not a Lifesaving Society’s affiliate member, you will need an employer account, and if you are, you will need an affiliate member account.

Fees for posting a job offer on the Lifesaving Society Website

  • $49.00 (+ tax) for the first two weeks
  • $19.25 (+ tax) for each additional week

Note that the first two weeks are free for Lifesaving Society affiliate members.


You can directly target candidates who have the desired profile by using our personalized email service. You only need to send us your job offer and indicate:

  • what certification(s) candidates should hold;
  • the geographical zone(s) in which you would like to recruit.

Once we have this information, we extract from our database the number of candidates who meet your criteria. After that, all you need to do is tell us how many of these candidates you want to contact, and approve the visual presentation of the personalized email. We take care of the rest!

Personalized email fees: $81,50 + $0.20 by potential candidate. Taxes are not included.
