  • Modification to the First Aid Certification Guide
In connection with regulation M-9, r.2.1, which states that in the absence of a first responder, any person may administer naloxone, either intranasally or intramuscularly, to a person experiencing respiratory depression and significant altered consciousness due to opioid administration, we have made some modifications to Item 19c - Poisoning. It is therefore possible to take a few minutes during the General First Aid training to demonstrate how to administer naloxone to the candidates.
