PROGRAMS COORDINATOR

The Lifesaving Society is looking to fill a Program Coordinator position, and you may be the ideal candidate!

Your role and challenges:
Under the supervision of the Director of Programs and Business Development, the Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and services related to aquatic activities, first aid, and lifesaving training.
You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe services tailored to the needs of professionals, while developing and maintaining positive relationships with members and partners.
Your responsibilities include:

Participating in the design, updating, organization, and promotion of lifesaving and water safety training programs;

Assisting organizations in the implementation of our programs in compliance with established standards;

Advising and supporting members, the education sector, and member organizations to develop and maintain personalized and adapted experiences;

Providing technical and pedagogical support to team members;
-
Participating in the recruitment of experts and volunteers, as well as the training and coordination of working groups tasked with program updates and development;

Contributing to the development of strategies and implementing actions aimed at increasing participant numbers across all regions of Québec;

Listening attentively, identifying solutions to issues, and acting as a liaison between staff and members of the Lifesaving Society.
What you need to qualify for this opportunity:

Significant experience in program coordination;
-
Knowledge of training programs in one of the following fields: first aid, aquatic lifesaving, or aquatic supervision;

Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams;

Autonomy and excellent communication skills;
-
A university bachelor’s degree in a field related to the position;

At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience;

Enjoy working as part of a team;
-
Strong communication skills;
-
Fluency in French (spoken and written) and the ability to communicate in English;

Good knowledge of computer and digital tools.

Compensation
We offer a salary with an hourly rate ranging from $30.64 to $38.27, plus additional benefits.
