UPDATE MAY 11, 2026 | OPERATIONS SHUTDOWN FROM MAY 25 TO JUNE 1 INCLUSIVE

As part of the launch of our VITA database platform, a temporary shutdown of operations will take place from May 25 to June 1 inclusive.

During this period:

  • The dashboard accessible through sauvetage.qc.ca will be unavailable.
  • The new VITA platform will not yet be accessible.
  • Services will resume on June 2 with the official launch of VITA.

Affiliated Members | Actions Required
We invite you to:

  • Create your upcoming courses
    → All content will be migrated to VITA, so you will not need to recreate them.
  • Enter candidates’ results
    → If the evaluation took place before May 24.
  • Verify certification validity
    → If you are currently hiring, these verifications must be completed before the service interruption.

Instructors and Trainers | Actions Required
We ask that you:

  • Enter candidates’ names and course results
    → If this responsibility falls to you and the evaluation took place before May 24.
  • Download all required documents
    → Your dashboard will be unavailable from May 25 to June 1.

Members – Certifications
Access to your certification list will be unavailable from May 25 to June 1.
Access will be restored on June 2 through the VITA platform.

 

 

Certification Delivery

All certifications validated and invoiced by the Lifesaving Society before May 22 will be sent by mail.

Certifications validated after services resume, starting June 2, will be available directly through the VITA dashboard.

Job Posting Service Suspension

The job posting service will be suspended from May 25 to August 31 inclusive.

UPDATE MAY 5, 2026 | VITA PLATFORM LAUNCH INFORMATION

The Lifesaving Society will reach an important milestone with the launch of VITA, its new database platform, scheduled for June 2.

Designed to better meet operational realities, VITA will modernize, simplify, and optimize the management of your lifesaving, First Aid, boating, and other training programs. This new platform will provide an enhanced experience for all our audiences:

  • For certified members: new processes related to maintaining and tracking your profile and obtaining certifications
  • For instructors and trainers: new features that simplify course management and follow-up
  • For affiliated members: a simplified course management process supported by modernized and more efficient tools

VITA introduces new ways of working while offering a more intuitive and high-performing environment.

To present these changes and provide an overview of the new features, we invite you to participate in an online information session. This session will include a presentation of the main functionalities and new ways of working with VITA.
