First Aid in the Workplace (CNESST)

You are an employer and would like to offer the First Aid in the Workplace training program to your employees in order to comply with the First-aid Minimum Standards Regulation? You are right where you need to be! The Lifesaving Society is duly accredited by the CNESST since 2008 to offer this comprehensive training in Montreal, Laval and Longueuil regions.

In this 16-hour course, your employees will learn about the first aider’s roles and responsibilities, the regulations and legal aspects, the emergency intervention protocol, emergency situation assessment and cardiopulmonary resuscitation on adults and children. They will also learn to provide specific treatments in order to immobilize an injury, to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and to administer adrenalin with an auto-injector.

Companies and organizations that wish to train their employees can benefit from a grant.

The First aid in the Wrokplace training program is offered directly by the Lifesaving society, and not by its affiliate members. Contact us to sign up or for any question.
