FIRST AID PROCEDUREs
APSAM has made available its guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for drowning and non-drowning victims and guidelines for the use of pocket mask with HEPA or viral filters. Please read them HERE.
Several other documents, such as the following, are also available to guide you through first aid procedures (french only).

MASK AND FACE COVER
The pocket mask comes with a non-return valve which already protects the lifeguard. This is what all the lifeguards already use and with which they have been trained. The addition of a HEPA-level antiviral filter is a Public Health recommendation to further protect the lifeguard who will be doing the ventilation. It is not "dangerous" to do the ventilation with the non-return valve which already offers a good level of protection and also considering that the aquatic environment is considered to be at low risk of transmission of the virus.
You can get these antiviral filters directly from AQUAM.
