  • The Lifesaving Society is proud to announce the launch of its monthly virtual meetups throughout 2025. These sessions are designed to inform, engage, and strengthen our connections with affiliated members, lifeguards, instructors, and the general public. Each meetup will provide a unique opportunity to learn and share on various topics related to aquatic safety. At the start of each session, we will introduce the topic of the month, followed by an open Q&A period to address your personal questions and everyday challenges.
  • We would like to inform you that we have recently changed the platform used for registering for the Lifesaving Society’s various training courses. The new platform is already online and fully functional for registrations. To help facilitate this transition, please take note of the following important information for your first login and/or registration.

Focused on discussion and scenario-based learning, this training equips you to optimize supervision and actively contribute to the prevention of incidents in aquatic environments.
  • Le moment est enfin venu ! Nous lançons officiellement les nouvelles versions des requalifications Moniteur en sauvetage, Moniteur en premiers soins et Moniteur de natation. • Pool safety goes beyond supervision. It also involves handling chemicals that are often underestimated but can be hazardous. To ensure a safe environment, a new asynchronous training course is now available. Developed in collaboration with APSAM, it is designed for lifeguards, pool operators, and all relevant staff.
  • Here are 8 important steps to keep in mind when planning your swimming lessons. Keep these 8 points in mind when doing your short-term planning to help participants improve in the pool. *Reference to the Leadership Manual, pp. 25 to 27.
  • In connection with regulation M-9, r.2.1, which states that in the absence of a first responder, any person may administer naloxone, either intranasally or intramuscularly, to a person experiencing respiratory depression and significant altered consciousness due to opioid administration, we have made some modifications to Item 19c - Poisoning. It is therefore possible to take a few minutes during the General First Aid training to demonstrate how to administer naloxone to the candidates.
  • Our HEAD LIFEGUARD COURSE will equip you to take charge of your lifeguard team. As a Head Lifeguard, you will be able to optimize the safety of all users and guide your team towards excellence.
