FORUM: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

 

Are you driven by a passion for improving aquatic safety, sharing knowledge, and implementing innovative solutions? Would you like to contribute to the growth and visibility of the aquatic community in Quebec?

The Lifesaving Society is pleased to invite trainers and speakers to submit a presentation proposal for the 2026 Annual Forum, which will take place from September 11 to 13, 2026, at the Maison du Loisir et du Sport in Montreal.

 

What is the Annual Forum?

The Lifesaving Society’s flagship event, organized in partnership with Santinel, the Forum is a must-attend gathering for aquatic managers, national trainers, lifesaving and first aid instructors, and professionals dedicated to drowning prevention.

This event aims to:

  • Promote ongoing training and professional development;

  • Encourage networking and the sharing of expertise;

  • Recognize and celebrate the key players in our community.

2026 Theme: Act with Impact

Let’s place professionalization and accountability at the heart of our practices to transform our field with intention, rigor, and commitment.

 

We are seeking presentations that:

  • Inspire and equip participants to improve their practices;

  • Offer concrete approaches, applicable tools, or reference frameworks;

  • Encourage reflection, collaboration, and innovation in the aquatic field.

 

Whether you work in aquatic management, training, communications, or a related field, we want to hear your voice and your ideas!
