First Aid - Day Camp
Do you work in a day camp? Would you like to acquire basic first aid knowledge to be able to respond quickly in emergency situations in this context?
Through this training, you will be able to recognize abnormal signs and symptoms in the children you interact with, and take the necessary emergency actions. Additionally, this training includes a section on the safe supervision of children's groups in aquatic environments—a great advantage for camps that use aquatic facilities.
Over two levels of four hours each, you will learn how to identify injuries, administer basic treatments to stabilize an injury on a child, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED). You will also learn how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a child and an adult, and how to respond appropriately in case of a respiratory emergency or cardiac arrest.
