Since the beginning of January, the Lifesaving Society has been updating its COVID-19 tools regarding teaching and adapting work in aquatic facilities in the context of a pandemic.

This data sheet outlines adaptations made for training, examinations and work situations in the context of COVID-19 for Emergency First Aid/AED, Standard First Aid and Aquatic Emergency Care.
PREPARING FOR A NATIONAL LIFEGUARD RECERTIFICATION
Health measures have severely restricted access to aquatic facilities in recent months and lack of training may have affected your preparation for the National Lifeguard Recertification!
Your fitness, lifesaving skills, knowledge and judgment will be assessed. It is important to be prepared in order to increase your chances of success.
Please note: After 2 failed attempts at recertification, your certificate will be revoked and you will have to repeat the entire National Lifeguard Course to obtain a new, up-to-date certificate.
