he Lifesaving Society is frequently called upon to provide its expertise. The Lifesaving Society provides consultation on aquatic safety issues to the aquatic industry and governments.
ADVICE ON OPERATIONAL CONCERNS
The Lifesaving Society offers its affiliate members advice on operational concerns at aquatic facilities. Whether it is a question of enforcing the various regulations governing bathing areas, or suggesting solutions, the Society's team has a wealth of experience to offer its affiliates.
OUR SUPPORT SERVICES
Our services can focus on the following aspects:
- Planning the organization of lifeguarding: the number and positioning of lifeguards at the bathing area for each activity.
- Assistance in drawing up a lifeguard and rescue organization plan (POSS) for the bathing area.
- Advise on the posting of safety rules for the bathing area, activities, and accessories.
- Help you develop or optimize the programming of aquatic activities at your bathing area.

AQUATIC INCIDENT SUPPORT
In the event of an incident at your bathing site, the Lifesaving Society offers a post-incident support service for affiliated members. We provide prompt assistance, whether to meet with staff, review the circumstances of the incident, or guide the affiliate through the investigation process.
The Lifesaving Society can also carry out an in-depth review of the incident and draw up a report with recommendations for improving safety of the bathing area.
