IS MY LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATE (POOL, WATERFRONT, SURF AND WATER PARK) STILL VALID?

FOR LIFEGUARDS

As previously announced, the RBQ has granted a 45-day delay for lifeguarding certificates in order to give everyone time to requalify. All members whose NLP, NLCB, NLWP and/or NLO card expired between March 30 and June 30 have until the following dates to requalify:

 

  • JULY 13 - Indoor and Outdoor Pools (public and private)
  • AUGUST 5 - Waterfronts (public and private)
  • AUGUST 9 - Water Parks

 

FOR INSTRUCTORS

For instructors whose certificate expired during COVID-19, between March 30 and June 30, you must complete the waiver form to obtain an extension of the validity of your instructor certificate.
