Call for Applications – National Lifesaving Instructor Trainer Internship

The Lifesaving Society invites interested candidates to submit their application to participate in a National Lifesaving Instructor Trainer internship in 2026. This internship is intended for individuals who are passionate about training and aquatic safety and who wish to actively contribute to the development of future instructors’ skills.

 

Required application documents:

1. Cover letter
Explain your motivation for taking part in this internship and your vision of the instructor trainer role.
Highlight your relevant experience and your commitment to the mission of the Lifesaving Society.

2. Detailed curriculum vitae (CV)
Include your professional and volunteer experience, particularly those related to aquatic safety, teaching, or training.

3. Two letters of support
From colleagues, instructors, or managers.
These letters must attest to your interpersonal skills, professionalism, and ability to assume a trainer role.

Desired qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in lifesaving and aquatic instruction.

  • Volunteer or community involvement related to the field is an asset.

  • Demonstrated leadership, communication skills, and professionalism.
