Want to become a lifesaving instructor?
Pass on your experience and passion for lifesaving by becoming a Lifesaving Instructor. You will train future lifeguards by teaching them first aid, CPR, lifesaving techniques and skills. The Lifesaving Instructor can teach the following certificates: Junior Lifeguards (Initiate, Advanced, Expert), Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, Lifesaving Fitness, Certificate of Distinction, and many others.
There will be several training courses in the next few months to become lifesaving instructors with the Lifesaving Society. Here are the ones you can sign up for!
- August 4, 6, 8 and 11, 2020 First Aid Instructor Training (Montreal)
- October 16, 17 and 18 Lifesaving Instructor (Montreal)
- October 14-21-28 and 31 First Aid Instructor Course (Online and Québec)
- November 8 Lifesaving instructor requalification (Peps University of Laval)
- November 13, 14 and 15 National Lifeguard Instructor (Montreal)
- December 11, 12 and 13 First Aid Instructor Course (Montreal)
- December 18, 19 and 20 National Lifeguard Instructor Course (North Shore)
- December 27, 28 and 29 National Lifeguard Instructor Course (Quebec)
If you want to become a swimming instructor, you should check with the Canadian Red Cross!
