Virtual Meetups!The Lifesaving Society is proud to announce the launch of its monthly virtual meetups throughout 2025. These sessions are designed to inform, engage, and strengthen our connections with affiliated members, lifeguards, instructors, and the general public. Each meetup will provide a unique opportunity to learn and share on various topics related to aquatic safety. At the start of each session, we will introduce the topic of the month, followed by an open Q&A period to address your personal questions and everyday challenges. -
FORUM: CALL FOR APPLICATIONSAre you driven by a passion for improving aquatic safety, sharing knowledge, and implementing innovative solutions? Would you like to contribute to the growth and visibility of the aquatic community in Quebec? The Lifesaving Society is pleased to invite trainers and speakers to submit a presentation proposal for the 2026 Annual Forum, which will take place from September 11 to 13, 2026, at the Maison du Loisir et du Sport in Montreal.

Following an article published this morning in La Presse about cellphone use in the workplace, the Lifesaving Society would like to remind all lifeguards and aquatic staff that during supervision hours or when present on the pool deck or near any body of water, the use of a cellphone or any other personal electronic device is strictly prohibited.
