What is VITA?
VITA is the Lifesaving Society's new unified platform for managing members, certifications, and services. It will provide a smoother, more centralized experience for all users, including certified members, affiliate members, instructors, employers, athletes, and volunteers.
With VITA, accessing your certifications, registering for courses, managing employees, and communicating with our organization will be simplified and automated.
The transition to a new database system may raise questions about accessibility and functionality. We will ensure that this transition is as smooth as possible and that users receive the support they need.
What can you do with VITA?
The platform offers different features depending on each user's profile and access permissions.
View certifications and qualifications associated with a member's record;
Access profile information and available services;
Search for courses offered by affiliated organizations;
Create and manage courses, based on assigned permissions;
Add participants and submit course results;
Manage users and organizational records, based on access permissions.
These features are designed to simplify administrative processes and make essential information easier to access.
Logging in for the first time?
Certified members can access VITA using either their previous membership number or their new alphanumeric number. The province to select when logging in depends on which number is used.
Your previous membership number remains valid for your first login to VITA.
Number to use: Previous membership number shown on your certification card.
Province to select: Quebec.
Members who have already received their new alphanumeric number can use it to access VITA.
Number to use: New alphanumeric number.
Province to select: National.
Important: The province selected must correspond to the type of membership number used to ensure access to your record.
