    The Lifesaving Society is proud to announce the launch of its monthly virtual meetups throughout 2025. These sessions are designed to inform, engage, and strengthen our connections with affiliated members, lifeguards, instructors, and the general public. Each meetup will provide a unique opportunity to learn and share on various topics related to aquatic safety. At the start of each session, we will introduce the topic of the month, followed by an open Q&A period to address your personal questions and everyday challenges.

    Call for Applications – National Lifesaving Instructor Trainer Internship The Lifesaving Society invites interested candidates to submit their application to participate in a National Lifesaving Instructor Trainer internship in 2026. This internship is intended for individuals who are passionate about training and aquatic safety and who wish to actively contribute to the development of future instructors’ skills.
  • FORUM: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

    Are you driven by a passion for improving aquatic safety, sharing knowledge, and implementing innovative solutions? Would you like to contribute to the growth and visibility of the aquatic community in Quebec? The Lifesaving Society is pleased to invite trainers and speakers to submit a presentation proposal for the 2026 Annual Forum, which will take place from September 11 to 13, 2026, at the Maison du Loisir et du Sport in Montreal.

  • OPENING OF NOMINATIONS - 2025 AWARDS YEAR

    The Lifesaving Society is proud to announce the upcoming opening of the nomination period for the 2025 Corporate Merit Awards, which recognize the outstanding commitment of individuals and organizations contributing to the development of lifesaving and aquatic safety.

    The Corporate Merit Awards aim to acknowledge members whose involvement, leadership, and contributions have made a significant impact in the lifesaving community over the past year. Eligible members are grouped into seven main categories: lifeguards, instructors, volunteers, mentors, administrators, examiners, and affiliated members.

  • WE ARE RECRUITING FOR SUMMER 2026
    The Lifesaving Society is launching its recruitment for the 2026 summer season and invites individuals interested in aquatic safety to join Brigade Splash. Three full-time positions are available to support public awareness and drowning prevention activities across Quebec.
