  • The Lifesaving Society Launches Monthly Virtual Meetups!
The Lifesaving Society is proud to announce the launch of its monthly virtual meetups throughout 2025. These sessions are designed to inform, engage, and strengthen our connections with affiliated members, lifeguards, instructors, and the general public. Each meetup will provide a unique opportunity to learn and share on various topics related to aquatic safety. At the start of each session, we will introduce the topic of the month, followed by an open Q&A period to address your personal questions and everyday challenges.
  • ADAPT YOUR TEACHING TO THE REGULATIONS
The Lifesaving Society invites National Lifeguard Instructors (NLIs) to participate in an exclusive webinar to inform you about the new requirements of the regulation amending swimming pool regulations, published in the Quebec Official Gazette. July 17 will mark the entry into force of the new regulations regarding the safety of swimming areas.
  • New Asynchronous WHMIS Training
Pool safety goes beyond supervision. It also involves handling chemicals that are often underestimated but can be hazardous. To ensure a safe environment, a new asynchronous training course is now available. Developed in collaboration with APSAM, it is designed for lifeguards, pool operators, and all relevant staff.
