Vincent Riopel, vice-président

Member of the Board of Directors since 2014

Vincent Riopel holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resource Management, from the Université du Québec en Outaouais. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Lifesaving Society Quebec since April 2014.

From 2014 to 2021, he served as Director responsible for National Relations. Since 2011, Vincent has worked for the City of Gatineau as a Recreation Supervisor, where he leads a team responsible for maintaining the water quality of municipal swimming pools and overseeing the operation and maintenance of aquatic facilities in collaboration with Public Works staff.

Elected Chair of the Board of Directors at the Society's Annual General Meeting in April 2022, Vincent provides strategic leadership by overseeing the implementation of the organization's strategic plan, fostering effective collaboration among Board members, and ensuring strong governance in support of the Lifesaving Society's mission.
