François has been actively involved with the Lifesaving Society for many years, playing a key role in developing and training the next generation of lifesavers. As a National Trainer, he has helped train numerous lifeguards through specialized instruction in pool, waterfront, and ocean environments. His expertise has taken him beyond Quebec, allowing him to share his knowledge and experience internationally. He has delivered training and supported lifesaving communities in the United States and Costa Rica, contributing to the advancement of aquatic safety standards and best practices.

Alongside his training responsibilities, François is also an active lifesaving sport athlete. He regularly competes at both the provincial and national levels, demonstrating the technical skills, teamwork, and dedication to excellence that define this demanding sport.

Outside the aquatic sector, François practices law in the Sherbrooke region. As a lawyer, he is known for his analytical mindset, professionalism, and attention to detail. His dual career reflects a strong commitment to both professional achievement and community involvement.
