Ambassador Organization

Become an NDPW Ambassador
Every year, organizations across Quebec take part in National Drowning Prevention Week to help promote aquatic safety messages within their communities.
Becoming an ambassador organization is an opportunity to join the movement and make a concrete contribution to drowning prevention.

The Role of an Ambassador
Participating in NDPW can be as simple or as elaborate as desired.
Organizations can organize awareness activities, host an information booth, offer educational activities, share Lifesaving Society prevention messages or engage their teams around a specific theme.
The goal remains the same: to bring prevention to life within the community and encourage safer behaviours around, on and in the water.

A Toolkit to Support Ambassadors
Registered organizations can receive a promotional toolkit designed to make it easier to organize their week and increase the visibility of their activities.
The toolkit may include posters, promotional materials and items identifying the organization as an NDPW ambassador.
The contents and distribution details are specified for each edition.

Take Part in the Next Edition
The next National Drowning Prevention Week will take place from July 18 to 24, 2027.
Registration details for ambassador organizations will be announced closer to the event.
