Swimming
In Quebec, the Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life program was introduced in 2022. Designed to develop basic swimming skills and promote an active lifestyle, the program is available to children, teens and adults who want to develop their aquatic skills.
Swim for Life includes five modules adapted to participants’ age or abilities and provides a structured progression toward an introduction to lifesaving.
Lifesaving
Develop the knowledge and skills needed to prevent emergencies and respond effectively in aquatic environments. Lifesaving courses build confidence, judgment and rescue skills while preparing participants to progress toward advanced lifesaving and lifeguarding certifications.
First Aid
Learn how to recognize emergencies and respond with confidence. First aid courses provide practical skills to help participants act quickly and effectively in a variety of situations, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.

Enjoy boating safely and responsibly. Nautical training provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to navigate safely, understand boating regulations, recognize risks and adopt safe behaviours on the water.
Professional Training
Strengthen professional skills and expertise in aquatic safety. Professional training provides specialized knowledge and practical tools to support aquatic personnel, managers and organizations in maintaining safe, effective and high-quality practices.
