Expertise That Comes to You

Since 2007, Brigade Splash has been visiting aquatic facilities to promote safety and help prevent drowning. Its approach is based on education, support and the sharing of best practices.

Pools, beaches, water parks and other swimming areas can benefit from activities tailored to their specific environment and the people who use them.

Brigade Splash 360

Prevention and Professional Development, Year-Round

Activities Tailored to Every Audience

Brigade Splash adapts its activities to the realities and needs of the different audiences it meets. Managers, lifeguard teams and the general public benefit from targeted activities designed to strengthen practices, develop skills and encourage safer behaviours around, on and in the water.

Support

Brigade Splash supports owners and managers in the continuous improvement of safety at their facilities.

Depending on the activity, various aspects related to safety, facility organization and current practices may be addressed to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.

Develop Skills

Activities for lifeguards are part of an ongoing professional development approach.

Scenarios, discussions and reviews help reinforce knowledge, revisit certain practices and strengthen preparedness for emergency situations. Current summer visits may address topics such as the emergency action plan and the Plan d’organisation de la surveillance et des secours (POSS).

Raise Awareness

Brigade Splash also connects with swimmers, families, youth and groups to promote behaviours that help prevent incidents and drowning.

Educational activities provide opportunities to learn about aquatic safety, discover lifesaving skills and better understand the essential role of lifeguards.
