The Lifesaving Society’s 3-level Canadian Swim Patrol program provides enriched training for those who want to develop swim strokes and skills while having fun in the challenging world of lifesaving. Swimmer
The Swimmer module prepares children from 5 to 12 years of age for deep water, whether they are beginners or already know how to swim. Preschool
The Preschool levels help children from 3 to 5 years of age gradually develop comfort, confidence and their first aquatic skills in a fun and safe environment. Through play and developmentally appropriate activities, children learn to enter the water, submerge, float, glide and move through the water with increasing independence. Parent and Tot
The Parent & Tot levels introduce young children to the aquatic environment in a fun, safe setting adapted to their stage of development, while allowing them to share a special experience with a parent or caregiver. Through structured in-water activities, the program focuses on play, exploration and positive interactions to gradually build comfort and confidence in the water.
