Corporate Awards

Eligible candidates must:

• Hold a certification issued by the Lifesaving Society;
• Be actively involved in promoting the Society's programs and objectives;
• Contribute to the development of lifesaving sport at the regional and provincial levels;
• Demonstrate initiative in preventing water-related injuries;
• Be recognized for the quality of their performance while supervising aquatic activities or carrying out a lifesaving rescue.

Eligible candidates must:

• Be recognized for the quality of their instruction;
• Understand and adhere to the standards of the Canadian Lifesaving Program;
• Uphold the Society's image and communicate its values to candidates;
• Demonstrate sound course administration practices;
• Teach a significant number of courses throughout the year.

Eligible candidates must:

• Be actively involved in promoting the Society's objectives;
• Demonstrate availability and commitment;
• Show genuine involvement in the Society's activities.

Eligible candidates must:

• Be actively involved in promoting the Society's programs and objectives;
• Support the development of volunteer resources within their region;
• Contribute to the administration and coordination of regional activities;
• Be available to support initiatives that foster regional development.

Eligible candidates must:

• Have served as a member of the Board during the year of nomination;
• Have demonstrated meaningful contributions to the growth and development of the Lifesaving Society through their Board responsibilities;
• Have shown leadership, vision, and innovation in matters related to governance;
• Have participated in the review and development of Board policies.

Eligible candidates must:

• Be recognized for the quality of their evaluations during examinations;
• Demonstrate a high level of commitment and availability;
• Conduct a significant number of examinations during the year;
• Be actively involved in promoting the Society's objectives;
• Demonstrate diligence in the administration of examination records.

Eligible Affiliate Members must:

• Be actively involved in promoting the Society's programs and activities;
• Be recognized for the quality of their administrative management of Lifesaving and Leadership program examination records;
• Be recognized for the quality of the courses they offer;
• Provide sufficient programming to meet the needs of their region;
• Demonstrate innovation in the delivery of lifesaving training.

Eligible Affiliate Members must:

• Be actively involved in promoting the Society's programs and activities;
• Be recognized for the quality of their administrative management of files shared with the Society's office;
• Be recognized for both the quality and quantity of courses offered;
• Demonstrate a positive impact within the community in the field of first aid;
• Demonstrate innovation in the delivery of first aid training.

Eligible Affiliate Members must:

• Be actively involved in promoting the Society's programs and activities;
• Employ Swimming Instructors certified by the Lifesaving Society;
• Deliver the Swim for Life Award Program in accordance with established policies and procedures;
• Be recognized for the quality and quantity of courses offered through their annual programming;
• Demonstrate innovation and creativity in the delivery of swimming instruction.
