SINCE APRIL 8, 2021, WEARING A PROCEDURAL MASK DURING AQUATIC SURVEILLANCE IS NOW MANDATORY!
Wearing a procedural mask is mandatory at all times and during aquatic lifeguarding:

- Lifeguards wearing corrective goggles should take steps to prevent foggy goggles from becoming a distraction from lifeguarding.
- In the event that it is impossible to remove the mist, and only if no solution is possible, the lifeguards may remove their procedural mask during their surveillance function but must strictly respect a physical distance of more than 2m and prioritize elevated monitoring stations.
- During aquatic surveillance, favor the use of elevated surveillance stations to promote physical distancing of 2 m.
