Swimming Pool Supervisor (Lifeguard) Laurier MacDonald High School, St-Leonard, Montreal
Full-Time position during operating hours of the school (8-3pm).
Lifeguard will be responsible to supervise 1 to 4 classes of 70 minutes per day.
Supervision of students (Lifeguarding) and assisting them when in need during physical education courses.
Physical Education teacher will instruct the classes.
Enforcement of swimming pool safety regulations.
Rescues people in danger according to recognized techniques, resuscitates them, as needed and administers first aid.
Maintains filtration equipment, check water temperature, test the pH and chlorine level, and add the necessary chemicals in order to obtain the required water quality.
Contract begins as soon as applicant is available and ends at the end of the scholastic year (end of June).
