    The Lifesaving Society is proud to announce the launch of its monthly virtual meetups throughout 2025. These sessions are designed to inform, engage, and strengthen our connections with affiliated members, lifeguards, instructors, and the general public. At the start of each session, we will introduce the topic of the month, followed by an open Q&A period to address your personal questions and everyday challenges.

    In connection with regulation M-9, r.2.1, which states that in the absence of a first responder, any person may administer naloxone, either intranasally or intramuscularly, to a person experiencing respiratory depression and significant altered consciousness due to opioid administration, we have made some modifications to Item 19c - Poisoning. It is therefore possible to take a few minutes during the General First Aid training to demonstrate how to administer naloxone to the candidates.
