The Day I Couldn't Dive - A Book by Sylvie Bernier

The official launch of the book The Day I Couldn't Dive will take place on Monday, April 8. In this heartfelt account, Olympic champion Sylvie Bernier shares the story of how she helplessly witnessed the drowning of her nephew, Raphaël, during a family canoe trip on the Nouvelle River in Gaspésie. A documentary recounting this tragic story, in which the Lifesaving Society played an active role, will air on Radio-Canada on Saturday, April 13, at 10:30 p.m.

Lifeguards now have a specialized shop where they can find everything they need. From swimsuits for training and supervision, to branded t-shirts and shorts, whistles, and pocket masks—these are just a few examples. In addition to clothing featuring the Lifesaving Society logo and items marked with a Lifeguard emblem, the shop also offers a selection of swimsuits with playful and colorful prints.
